recently, my cousin and i went into a fever state and binged 7 seasons of the show Suits. sufficiently trashy in all the right ways, slightly controversial, woke in a sense, plus Meghan Markle, Gina Torres, Sarah Rafferty, yess.
It's like Mad Men, but for people in grad school.
well, anyway. my cousin and i really connected while watching Suits. she's in Edmonds, WA and i'm in Dallas, TX so we did the whole Watch Party thing on amahoe, ahem. amaz*n. while we watched, we were hella catty, dishing on the characters, talkin bout life and such.
it was a special time.
in recognition of the moment, and as a responsibility to you my supporters, i made a beat tape.
all the samples, drums, etc were chopped either directly from the show or from the show's soundtrack.
i think it came out really cool and i hope you like it.
